Donald A. Thompson is an Associate with Harvey Siskind LLP. His practice emphasizes the clearance, prosecution, licensing and enforcement of trademark and related rights. He frequently appears in state and federal court and before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board. He also counsels clients in the software, entertainment and beverages industries, among others.
Mr. Thompson holds a J.D. from the University of Southern California and a B.A., magna cum laude, from Yale College. As a law student, he served as Senior Submissions Editor of the Southern California Law Review and received the USC Scribes Award for “outstanding published writing.” He is the author of various publications, including Brown v. Kamehameha Schools: An Instrumental Critique of Remedial Self-Segregation in Private Education, 81 S. CAL. L. REV. 831 (2008).
Prior to joining Harvey Siskind LLP, Mr. Thompson founded an e-commerce startup and practiced with an international law firm.
